כנס ערים חכמות ברצלונה הולך וקרב. האירוע, הנחשב למוביל בעולם בתחום ערים חכמות, כולל
1. תערוכה מסחרית ובה מעל 900 מציגים, ביניהם ערים ומדינות מכל העולם וחברות מסחריות גדולות כקטנות בעלות מוצרים, פתרונות, אפליקציות, תוכנה, חומרה, פרויקטים שלמים בכלל הנושאים הקשורים לעיר חכמה: טרנספורמציה דיגיטלית, סביבה עירונית, ניידות, ממשל ומימון, שילוב ושיתוף בערים. רוב החברות הבינלאומיות הגדולות צפויות להציג שוב השנה, ביניהן מיקרוסופט, HUAWEI, אינטל, SAP מסטרקארד, ZTE, דויטשה טלקום, טלפוניקה, CISCO. מישראל צפויים להציג חברות טכנולוגיה מישראל, אוניברסיטת בר אילן, עיריות תל אביב וחיפה, מובילאיי, מוביט וכן המכון הישראלי לערים חכמות. לתערוכה מגיעות משלחות מבקרים מכל העולם, סין, רוסיה, ארה”ב, מערב אירופה, הודו, יפן, ברזיל, מקסיקו, סינגפור ועוד.
2. כנס ניידות עירונית עם מעל 400 דוברים ופאנליסטים מכל רחבי העולם (מתקיים רק באנגלית), ביניהם יו”ר המכון, דר’ עדנה פשר.
כמדי שנה, משלחת המבקרים מישראל היא בין המשלחות הבינלאומיות הגדולות והבולטות. היא כוללת את ראשי השלטון המקומי והחברה למשק וכלכלה, מנכ”לי התאגידים העירוניים, חברי מועצה, סגני ראשי ערים, מנכ”לים ומנהלים בכירים ברשויות, ביניהם מנמ”רים, מבקרים, גזברים, מנהלי רכש ועוד. גם חברות מרכזיות כמילגם והחברה לאוטומציה שולחות את מנהליה הבכירים. השנה נרשמו כבר כ- 40 ראשי ישובים מכל המגזרים: יהודים, נוצרים, מוסלמים, דרוזים ובדואיים.

Barcelona Smart Cities Expo World Congress is approaching.
The event is considered the world leader in smart cities and includes:
1. A trade show featuring over 900 exhibitors, worldwide cities and countries pavilions, large and small commercial companies with products, solutions, applications, software, hardware, holistic projects on the following smart city topics: digital transformation, urban environment, mobility, governance and finance, integration and sharing in cities.
The major international companies are expected to exhibit again this year, including Microsoft, HUAWEI, Intel, SAP MasterCard, ZTE, Deutsche Telekom, Telefonica, CISCO.
Israel is bringing several technology companies, as well as booths from Bar Ilan University, Tel Aviv and Haifa municipalities, Mobileye, Moovit and the Israeli Institute of Smart Cities.
This leader show brings visitor delegations from all over the world, China, Russia, USA, Western Europe, India, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Singapore and more.
2. A leading Mobility conference with more than 400 speakers and panelists from all over the world (in English), including our Smartcity Institute’s Chair, Dr. Edna Pasher.
As every year, the Israeli delegation is among the largest and most prominent international delegations. Heads of the local government federation, CEOs of economy municipal corporations, councilors, deputy mayors, CEOs and senior executives, CIOs, comptrollers, treasurers, purchasing managers and more.
Major companies such as Milgam and Automation are sending their senior executives.
This year, more than 40 mayors from all sectors have been already registered: Jews, Christians, Muslims, Druze and Bedouin.
